Zeta Nu Chapter Reestablished at Miami University
Oxford, Ohio – Alpha Xi Delta proudly reestablished its Zeta Nu Chapter at Miami University on April 27, 2019.
The Initiation Ceremony and celebration was held at the The Marcum in Oxford, Ohio. More than 115 guests attended the celebratory luncheon that was held for the new initiates and alumnae, and the chapter was presented with their official charter.
“It’s been a wonderful experience to return to Miami University,” said Elysia Gallivan, Alpha Xi Delta’s National Executive Director. “The women who have reestablished the Zeta Nu Chapter are leaders who have bold life aspirations. We are so happy to back in Oxford and look forward to inspiring future generations of women at Miami to realize their potential.”
Alpha Xi Delta accepted the invitation to reestablish the Zeta Nu Chapter at Miami University in the spring of 2018. Alpha Xi Delta staff and volunteers worked together with the Miami University faculty and students to coordinate marketing and recruitment efforts. Alpha Xi Delta Educational Leadership Consultants Arlena Clayton and Leah Becker, and Gretchen DiMarco, New Chapter Development Specialist, helped the new members of Zeta Nu Chapter prepare for Installation throughout the new member period.
Founded in 1893 at Lombard College in Galesburg, Illinois, Alpha Xi Delta inspires women to realize their potential by providing opportunities for Sisterhood, leadership, knowledge and service. The national women’s fraternity has more than 175,000 initiated members and chapters on 129 college campuses.
